ITALY

BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT

The time of year that you can travel is always what works best.  However, according to Frommers’ travel guides, the best times to visit Italy are April to June and September to October.  Depending upon the region and time of year you are visiting Italy, temperatures and rainfall vary widely.  

LANGUAGE

The official language in Italy is Italian.  Please note there are a couple of regions that have a second official language:  French and German.

CURRENCY

The local currency of Italy is the Euro.  Credit Cards are generally accepted.  Italian shops will generally display the symbols of the cred cards they accept on the outside door.  Please be prepared to show identification at time of purchase.
