Day 1: Rome – Arrival Day, settle into hotel, rest, Sightseeing Hop on Hop off bus tour
Day 2: Rome –Naples and Pompeii—Discover some of the world’s most fascinating ruins, including the famous death casts, before scaling Mt. Vesuvius for beautiful views over the bay of Naples. With your official licensed Pompeii tour guide, you’ll get a well-rounded view of Pompeii, visiting examples of all the most common building types so you’ll understand what it was like to live in this ancient port city.
Day 3: Rome – Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica
Day 4: Rome – Rome Pizza Food Tour—A must for food lovers and culinary enthusiasts.
Day 5: Rome – Rome to Tuscany Tour—Explore the best of Tuscany. Visit Pienza, eat lunch on an organic farm; drink wine at a Montalcino vineyard; and scale the walls of a castle.
Day 6: Florence – depart Rome; arrive in Florence. Chianti Colors & Flavors—Explore the marvelous Chianti Wine Region and its rolling hills. Tour includes two different wine estates with tours of the cellars, tasting of local products such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar and snacks.
Day 7: Florence – Ferrari Museum—Be seduced by Italian good living and discover three Italian wonders: Ferrari Factory Museum, Aromatic Vinegar and Parmesan Cheese.
Day 8: Florence – Cinque Terre Day—Whole day devoted to the discovery of one of the most amazing and enchanting landscapes in the world. Five (Cinque) villages, hanging between sea and land, a place where you can immerse yourselves in paradise, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
Day 9: Florence – Pisa & Leaning Tower Morning Tour—Walk alongside the Medieval walls up to the old entrance gate: Porta Santa Maria. See Plazza del Miracoli with its marble architecture and neat grass lawns. Visit the interiors of the Cathedral; an unchallenged masterpiece of Romanesque art. Once outside you can admire the Baptistery, the Monumental Graveyard and finally, the Leaning Tower.
Day 10: Venice – Depart Florence arrive Venice—enjoy a leisurely scenic drive from Florence to Venice.
Day 11: Venice – Verona Day Trip—Enjoy the panoramic vies of Verona from above and learn to understand why it was the prefect setting for the world’s greatest romance.
Day 12: Venice – Gondola Ride—On your own – enjoy your last day in Italy!!!
Day 13: Venice – Depart for home
